The Annual Fund supports the daily experience of every Friends School student. Gifts from parents, alumni, faculty and staff, alumni families, grandparents, and friends help make this possible. As with most independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Friends School education. We rely on Annual Fund contributions to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of running the school each year.

We strive to keep tuition as accessible as possible so that more families can benefit from a Friends School education. Raising tuition would limit access for many, yet we remain committed to maintaining the high quality of our academic programs. Charitable contributions make it possible to balance both priorities—ensuring excellence while keeping our school inclusive and affordable.

Gifts to the Annual Fund support the following opportunities

• Financial aid, which promotes access and affordability

• Daily cost of teaching and learning - costs which, as at independent schools across the country- exceed the amount covered by tuition

• Faculty professional development, which helps our exceptional teachers continue to bring fresh skills and knowledge to the classroom

• Improvements to the physical campus
